Ah, yes, the same old “one person allegedly does something, therefore, the entire group they associate with does the same thing” argument.
So, if Barack Obama gets accused of sexual assault, should we expect the “Same old democrats! This is what we’ve all come to know!”
A reasonable, logical, sane person would realize that Barack Obama isn’t even in office and hasn’t been for years, therefore he doesn’t represent an entire political party.
The last time someone voted for Lee Chatfield was 2018. More than three years ago. He left office in 2020, more than a year ago.
What if Lee Chatfield belonged to the Rotary Club? Would a sane person say, “Same old Rotary Club members!” No, because one person’s actions are their own and do not transfer to others.
So, let’s review. When someone is accused of or actually does something evil, THE PERSON ACCUSED is the only person being evaluated at the time, not any organization they associate with or had associated with in recent years.
