The Big 8 Radio internet station is not impressive at all it has to much 80's and 90's music on the playlist, The legendary CKLW wasn't 80's and 90's in my opinion it sounds crappy, as far as CKWW yes 580 sounds better. Also WCFL has an Internet station and that playlist contains 80’s and 90’s as well, the only two stations on the internet that come close to sounding legendary are KYA 1260 in San Francisco and WFIL 56 in Philadelphia both are Internet only Stations.

The Big 8 jocks were on and they played 80's material unless this other station is voice tracking the DJ portion from other sources. Who knows. Now I was truly never a fan of CKLW the CanCon wrecked that station, during the 70's they were forced to play solid CanCon from 10pm to Midnight every night that was the reason I tuned in to WLS and WCFL from Chicago. WKNR was a much better station than The Big 8.

That was a great movie in '78 Eric Swan played by Martin Mull the best scene in the movie "The Sounds of Love" by Eric Swan.😀 Then the commercials for the Army, again a great movie.

Lately I’ve been streaming WIXY 1260 Cleveland and WCFL Chicago, both are excellent.

Is Dick Biondi heard on the WCFL site? I got to hear him speak once at an event in the 80’s, after he’d returned to Chicago.
Haven’t heard him or any jocks the last week or so as a matter of fact I have WCFL on now, here’s the Internet address www.WCFLChicago.com, Enjoy 😉. And the 70’s were my favorite decade and wish I could do it again.

http://worfm.com

This is a site dedicated to the glory days of New York's WOR-FM and its successor WXLO. Plenty of airchecks ranging from WOR-FM's early days as a Progressive Rock station, to the Bill Drake "More Music" era, to the Top 40 days of 99X. The site also features a comprehensive history of the station, including promotional materials of the day.
Thanks for the links, I’ll have a few more soon, This stuff is great listening and very enjoyable.

“Super CFL” and “The Big 89” were my favorite stations from that era. Here’s 2 more links, www.kxok630.com for KXOK St. Louis and www.wixy1260.com for WIXY Cleveland.
