Still no local ads and I can count the number of callers on one hand so I’m guessing no. Station as a whole has a 0.5, which is actually an improvement from the old format.

He's a bit too folksy and gomerish for me.
It's not a good strategy to bring a Grand Rapids show into metro Detroit. Despite being in the same state, they are worlds apart.

Nearly all of the issues he talks about are at the state or national level. It's clear he's not that familiar with Metro Detroit despite working here at one point. Henry Payne gave it away a few weeks ago when he asked how the weather was in Grand Rapids.
If I want Michigan issues from a conservative perspective, I can tune into Steve Gruber on WAAM. Same time slot.

Michael DelGiorno, based at WLAC, should be on WFDF 910 Superstation and a Chicago affiliate. He's now on seven stations. iHeart's only Detroit AM, WDFN 1130, is already committed to BIN. He has ties to both areas, and follows Michigan and Chicago issues quite a bit. He was likely chased away by Cumulus for political reasons. Cumulus never made a move to syndicate him. 910 AM covers much of the Lower Peninsula, not just Detroit.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2024 1:49 pmColonel Flagg wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2024 10:56 am He's a bit too folksy and gomerish for me.

Well stated.

Justin is ahead of Guy Gordon in that time slot.

In what demo? 6+? Men? 65+? The entire time slot? In the Flint market?
Guy Gordon is horrible, but it’s hard to believe a station with a 0.6 rating has a morning show from Grand Rapids with higher overall ratings than WJR.

Justin does a local Grand Rapids show on WOOD-AM/FM from 9 to 10am weekdays. .. heard him mistakenly let slip a 930AM reference the other morning on his GR show....
