Re: Ron Cameron
Ahh that's right, now I remember. Greg from W loves reading these posts, gets all ticked off and then makes it a point to give it publicity on the show. He can't get enough of these comments, so keep 'em coming. Kurt emailed for the 2nd hour so perhaps he's angry with Ron for not keeping him on for a half hour.

Re: Ron Cameron
Is Ron living under a rock that he "didn't see or hear about" the Fernando Tatis grand slam that he had to apologize for ? I thought he was spouting off how many channels he had at his new hotel. He must just spend his free time watching the oldies channel.

Re: Ron Cameron
Ron is talking about having remote broadcasts in his imaginary restaurant during a pandemic. He is the biggest hypocrite

Re: Ron Cameron
I think he still believes he has thousands of fans that will be waiting in a long line to get into his imaginary restaurant. I think Ron thinks of himself as the Paul McCartney of Sports Radio. Now Dave from Warren bringing up all the names of guests that have died after getting interviewed by Ron. Pronounces Chico Fernandez as Chico Fernandeez. I think this guy likes to get in very subtle digs at Ron along with his stupid mispronunciations. I got your number Dave
Re: Ron Cameron
I missed today's submission for a Peabody Award, but felt like I was there reading all the comments! Kurt's quite the baseball savant if he couldn't see that Mize showed great stuff & composure for a debut performance. And what was the 3-week ultimatum about? Is Ron thinking of walking away from the riches of his HOF radio career to devote all his energies to the restaurant business?!

Re: Ron Cameron
Kurt is to Ron as bones are to dogs. Even after getting kicked off the air, he sent 2 emails and if that wasn't enough, he called in at 12:50 but by then I had to go back to work (walk upstairs).
The ultimatum sounds like he can't get any sponsors and was complaining about the lack of sports fans in the area. His ultimate goal is to host his show at his imaginary restaurant. He was very energetic and in a fighting mood today but he kind of calmed down after Benny from Benny and the Jets called him. If Matt was there, it would have been radio greatness.

Re: Ron Cameron
Ron the consummate businessman! I’m thinking all the time he talks about a new restaurant is as much air-filler as was his insurance company callers. All fanciful.

Kurt is hogging the show again. 1970's baseball talk. Yawn.
Re: Ron Cameron
I wonder if anyone can independently confirm Ron’s oft-told Eddie Feigner/Gordie Howe story. I don’t accept Ron’s stories at face value.

Ron said that Sather was on his show 2 months ago, more like 1 year ago.
Re: Ron Cameron
According to Ron, the Detroit News’s Vartan Kupelian died a few years ago. He died Thursday.
Re: Ron Cameron
Someone better warn Mike Hartman, Ron's very good friend, that Keith from Oak Park gave Martin his phone number. Per Ron, Hartman's going to love being on his show.

He'll be the next guest. One hour of Mike Hartman. Someone that nobody has ever heard of.
