Ah is I am reviewing todays show….i read it’s a rebroadcast, seems like a live show lol
Some of the names may change, but Ron's shows, whether they be live, from last week or last year, have a timeless quality.

I love your bemused reaction when Ron persists on thinking you're an accountant. No matter how many times you correct him.

Like Effie in Dreamgirls, Ron is "staying" [at WPON].

It literally is Time Machine Radio, time stands still or repeats itself…

Today is Joe Schmidt's 92nd birthday. On last week's show - rerun today - Ron talked about getting him back as a guest. "What does the future hold for Joe Schmidt?"

Well, it’s Saturday morning. Mo is probably passing the documents over to Ron at the library.

With no interviews, it included the standard content of his recent shows:
  • Harbaugh
  • Haliburton
  • Complaints about the station
  • Stories about the past
And I'm sure that once again he's putting the fate of the Lions on the shoulders of Sam LaPorta.

Or confronting him about not showing up for the big birthday party we had planned for him on Friday.

Again, Ron was a no-show (I may have to decamp to Ram's Horn to effect delivery). But it's probably for the best, as I’ve been imagining how it would play out if our birthday boy, even in his current diminished physical state, would react - in toney Bloomfield Hills no less - upon learning I was one of those no-account Buzzboard rapscallions. I'm thinking it might go down something along these lines:

I can imagine an unironic Ron approaching his "fans," ala Andrew Dice Clay.

I must say, win the lions big win today. Would have been a great listen for some vintage Ron Cameron play by play today

Yeah, nothing like desecrating a great moment in Lions history.

First, there was the Harbaugh-led Michigan national championship. Now there’s the Lions a win away from the Super Bowl (“don’t go there”). Even with the futility of the Pistons to give Ron some needed joy, a mental intervention may be necessary.
