Gary was his sidekick on his Friday morning (9-11) show on WPON, famous for the “insurance company callers,” but he almost never had guests (the only one I remember was Lincoln Cavalieri), so I have no idea what he’s talking about when he talks about all the guests they had. His Friday morning show then was always the red-headed stepchild of his weekend shows.

About 12-15 years ago Ron would have guests more frequently on the Friday WPON show but not as often as the weekend shows. I specifically remember Jim Northrup, Joe DeLamielleure, Ron Kramer, Ray Scott, Ernie Harwell, and George Kell among others on Friday shows.

Ok, I don’t go back that far. And when Gary said he worked with Ron for 5 years, that was within my listening range.

How many times is Ron going to be asked to weigh in on Lolich’s HOF credentials?!

He has been asked numerous times. I agree with Ron on Morris but not Lolich. I don't think either of them belong in the Hall of Fame.

Will Ron ask Alex if he always wanted to be a sports talk show producer? What his greatest thrill was producing his show?

Ron is a running PSA, with his regular campaign against smoking & driving while impaired.

Classic Ron. Confusing football coaches with Alzheimer’s!

You’re on thin ice, Alex, mentioning this Board to Ron.
