Re: WLLZ
Go Your Own Way by Fleetwood Mac was played today.
I remember Casey assured me years ago they would never play stuff like that.
Not sure if hes there anymore or not.
I actually think that might be the best pop/rock song ever written but really WLLZ? Fleetwood Mac?
Fucking pathetic. I hate you (WLLZ) with my entire being.

Re: WLLZ
WLLZ always loses against their classic rock competitor WCSX. WCSX was number two in the August overall 12 and over
Nielsen ratings with a 6.8% share. WLLZ was number 15 in the overall 12 and over ratings with a 3% share. WCSX is the best
classic rock station in both the Detroit area market and the entire state of Michigan. I still say that WLLZ should sound like
their TV commercials that have aired on Tiger Baseball games for years. What I mean by that is play classic hard rock
as those TV commercials mentioned such as Aerosmith and Van Halen and they should drop wimpy sounding music by
artists such as Journey. They should also drop some overplayed hits that in their day were aired on Top 40 stations and
that can be found on classic hits stations such as WOMC.

Re: WLLZ
Its pretty simple: WLLZ should be playing kick ass rock and roll tunes from the 80's and 90's with a few early 2000's thrown in once and awhile. Thats it. Lose the tired worn out "safe" songs like Bohemian Rhapsody, Wanted Dead or Alive and Dont stop Believin' etc. Thats about a 20-25 year span. Is WLLZ trying to tell us there isnt enough good music from that range to make a solid playlist?Greg Buben wrote: ↑Tue Sep 13, 2022 1:01 pm WLLZ always loses against their classic rock competitor WCSX. Re: WLLZ
I don't get why WLLZ or WCSX don't play more KISS.
They/them, non-binary and proud.
Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

WLLZ is also playing "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor. Maybe it has escaped me, but I NEVER recall hearing Survivor on the original Wheels. I definitely recall the song being played on the CHR stations when it was new, (1982) and perhaps WNIC, but not on the rock stations. Why this is necessary is puzzling to me.

Re: WLLZ
I used to have an air check of Doug Podell playing it for the "Rate at 8" or whatever it was and he called it "Eve of the Tiger"Colonel Flagg wrote: ↑Fri Oct 14, 2022 1:29 pm WLLZ is also playing "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor.
