Ron Cameron
Re: Ron Cameron
What’s the likelihood of Denny returning as a guest this weekend? If he’s not on, it may be fair to conclude that, like so many before him, Denny’s had his fill with Ron. Maybe we can then look forward to Deborah’s MSU-baseball playing son as Ron’s guest. Unless, that is, there’s “too much to talk about.”
Re: Ron Cameron
In the spirit of recently having had Ike Blesset (with his 0 for 4 mlb career) on Sports Talk With Ron Cameron, maybe Siz has at some point interviewed
former Tiger pitcher Fritz Fischer, who in 1964 appeared in one mlb game: 1/3 IP, 2 hits, 2 walks, 4 earned runs. 108.00 career ERA. His greatest thrill would certainly have to be that he did strike out the first batter he faced: Harmon Killebrew.

That's interesting. Here's what the Detroit Free Press said about his one-day career on May 20, 1964:Majik wrote: ↑Sat Sep 24, 2022 10:37 amIn the spirit of recently having had Ike Blesset (with his 0 for 4 mlb career) on Sports Talk With Ron Cameron, maybe Siz has at some point interviewed

"The less said about the opener, the better. At least Frltzie Fisher feels that way, The University of Michigan kid made his big league debut and came out of the contest with an earned run average of 108.00. He gave up four runs and got only one out."

Re: Ron Cameron
Other things on this weekend's agenda:
- Will Mr. Positive tell us how he celebrated his 60th birthday?
- By my calculations, Kurt's Name Game is up to the letter X. Since there's only player there (https://www.baseball-reference.com/play ... ndex.shtml), he'll probably combine it with Y. Then, mercifully, the game will come to an end on Sunday with the letter Z.
- Will Ron start his commentary on new Tigers President of Baseball Operations Scott Harris by saying that the young whippersnapper will only be building on the accomplishments of the great Al Avila?
All along the icy wastes, there are faces smiling in the gloom.

Re: Ron Cameron
Favorite guest Rich Kincaid has not really been spoken of as of late
On this fall day, will Ron continue to say Jim Harbaugh is scheduling cup cake even though they are now in league play
What will his thoughts be on the Tiger moves, has Ron ever met the tigers new president

Re: Ron Cameron
Not gonna be able to call or listen but hopefully someone, Mr. Positive possibly?, could ask Ron-O why the podcasts are no longer being updated! Some of us can’t listen in this new time spot!

Now Denny will be on next week.
Re: Ron Cameron
Ron doesn't want feedback?! Best, then, that he not frequent this Board.
