Ron Cameron
Re: Ron Cameron
The Dickerson question - whether he belongs in the HOF - had to come from someone who frequents this Board. Now if someone would just ask about Ron himself getting into the Michigan HOF.

Re: Ron Cameron
Ron’s take on Isiah Thomas is yet another example of his inability to separate the personal from the professional. If he doesn’t like someone personally, that entirely clouds Ron’s judgment. The idea that Joe Dumars was more responsible for the Pistons’s titles is just a reflection of his bad relationship with Thomas.

Re: Ron Cameron
Here we go again with the "NHL isn't in a bubble" lie. If he watched a minute of hockey, he would realize they are in a bubble.
Re: Ron Cameron
What the hell was going on in the ‘70s that this guy could possibly land a pioneering sports talk show on a major station?! With an enormous female audience, no less.
Re: Ron Cameron
Try for Terry Collins! As a favor for a good friend.

Re: Ron Cameron
Ron was too jovial the last 2 shows but something has to give. Sometimes he would do this fake act after a big blowup with Matt and within a week, he’s back to stubborn Ron.
Re: Ron Cameron
Still trying to wrap my head around Ron so casually & definitively pronouncing "Gutterball" Tony dead. I was listening a couple of years ago when - previously claimed dead by Ron as is his wont when a regular caller has not been heard from of late (Ron seems to think that embalming fluid is the only explanation for one breaking off contact with him) - Tony called in to say he had returned to school & had been very busy. While of course it's certainly possible that he's now no longer among the living, the fact that he already emerged from Ron's "dead' file so relatively recently strongly suggests the contrary. And, again, how would an utterly clueless Ron "know" that Tony's deceased with such certainty?!

Re: Ron Cameron
He's very confident in lying, doubling down, and making things up, the true hallmark of a conman but being completely clueless. He only gets fueled by the low information callers that follow every word from the "Sports Sage" and ask him for predictions on topics like the NHL Finals where he hasn't watched a minute of hockey but needs to throw out this quote on every show "The NHL has no positive tests and they aren't in a bubble, how do they do it?" None of his minions have ever correct him on this lie.
