How does this work?
About a month ago, we went out to dinner with another couple. While we were in the restauraunt, the woman took a picture of my wife and I using her cell phone.
We haven't yet seen the picture because she has been unable to locate it oh her phone.
Today, my wife called the woman's cell number. Instead of our name or number showing on the woman's call display, she says that photo of us popped up. Is that a normal thing?

Cell Phone Question
Re: Cell Phone Question
Sound's like when she took the picture, she was setting you up as a contact on your phone.Turkeytop wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 10:29 pm How does this work?

Possible the only place your picture is on her phone is on her contact list.

Re: Cell Phone Question
I like that explanation. Except on my phone running Android 10 I'm pretty sure that picture would show up in my picture album as well.

No, it is not normal. She just misplaced where she stored it when she took it.

I don't need all that new fangled gadgetry. My old phone works just fine.
