Some registered account users are experiencing password recognition issues. The issue appears to have been triggered by a PHP update on October 30. If this is occurring, please try logging in and using the "forgot password?" utility. Bear in mind auto-generated password reset emails may appear in your spam folder. If this does not work, please click the "Contact Us" option near the lower right hand corner of the index page to contact me via email. I have responded to all password reset requests received through 6a ET on November 7. You should see an email from the "Admin" email account.
November 9 update: Due to app errors, I have disabled the Tapatalk plug-in. As such, the Buzzboard is currently unavailable in Tapatalk. I am trying to do a clean reinstall, but each reinstall attempt is generating database errors. I am hopeful that the issue will be able to be resolved in the next few days.
Thank you for your patience!

Re: Unvaccinated people 11 times more likely to die of covid
But, what if they take horse meds? Wouldn't that improve their chances?
Re: Unvaccinated people 11 times more likely to die of covid
If Allison Williams, formerly of ESPN, gets covid, I think horse medicine would be appropriate.

Re: Unvaccinated people 11 times more likely to die of covid
This is personal for me. I’m currently quarantined at home until tomorrow with Covid which I was diagnosed with last Wednesday. Started feeling sick last Monday. Caught it from my wife, who started showing symptoms four days before me. She caught it from a coworker. All three of us are vaccinated. My wife and her coworker, because they were vaccinated, we’re not wearing mask in their office. What a mistake. I feel like crap enough right now but I’m getting better. I have zero sympathy for someone who didn’t get the vaccine and gets COVID. Just stay out of the hospital and ICU as you’re getting what you deserved.
Re: Unvaccinated people 11 times more likely to die of covid
Good luck to all three of you.
Re: Unvaccinated people 11 times more likely to die of covid
Northern Michigan has an infection rate of 16% I am using a mask indoors because it's getting pretty crazy in town.

In Ontario, indoor masking is still the law.
Re: Unvaccinated people 11 times more likely to die of covid
Feel better. I have a coworker that is completing a covid quarantine that is fully vaccinated. His symptoms have been relatively minor from what I understand.Realist wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 8:39 pm This is personal for me. Your wife. Vaccinated. Got Covid
Your wife's co-worker. Vaccinated. Got Covid.
You. Vaccinated. Got Covid.
You're all vaccinated, you all got Covid, and what you've learned from this that unvaccinated people who get Covid are deserving of zero sympathy.
Sometimes I feel like I'm living in the Twilight Zone. In what world does this make any logical sense?
Re: Unvaccinated people 11 times more likely to die of covid
Simple. I have zero tolerance and empathy for those who get COVID-19 and refused to get the vaccine. You had a way to protect yourself, Don’t give me the “my choice” argument. Unless you have a MD, OD or PHD behind your name, you’re choosing to remain ignorant over this. There is no logic in not getting this vaccine. Given how much both my wife and I have been coughing, I’m positive that my lungs would have filled up with fluid even more so. The vaccine helped me fight off even worse symptoms. Buddy of mine had that issue a year ago before the vaccines were out and was on a vent for a week.bmw wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 9:22 pmSo just to clarify:Realist wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 8:39 pm This is personal for me. I’ve got co workers who refuse to get the vaccine which blows my mind. While they have BA’s, none of these degrees are medical related.
Re: Unvaccinated people 11 times more likely to die of covid
Bah! just think of how quick we would have gotten rid of polio if people werent forced to get the vaccine (
Re: Unvaccinated people 11 times more likely to die of covid
You all "protected" yourself. And you all got Covid. While I'm not vaccinated, I am protecting myself in other ways. And thus far I've dodged the virus (as far as I know). The vaccine is not the end-all-be-all protection (clearly).
I don't need an MD, OD, or PHD to engage in statistical analysis or risk assessment. Age, by far, is the biggest predictor of how severe symptoms will be if you get Covid - even moreso than vaccination status. As someone who is fairly young and without any underlying conditions, Covid isn't even in the list of top 10 things likely to kill me this year.
Do YOU have an MD, OD, or PHD in front of your name? If not, you're in no more of a position to make that statement than I am to say that there are logical reasons to not get the vaccine. How's this for starters: I don't want to take a shot every 8 months for the rest of my life. You want your 3 shots every 2 years? Good for you. Take your shots. We have no idea what the long-term consequences are of getting say 15 Covid shots over a 10-year period.
Perhaps. But that is mere speculation.
