But the guy went to a well lit location common for traffic stops. How do we know? THE OFFICER ADMITTED AS MUCH. Instead of simply talking to the guy we got a Barney Fife clown cop power trip lesson for no identifiable reason. These two idiots (one of which has been fired) had no business on the job in the first place.

The orders he was being given didn’t make any sense. The pulling of a gun on the man didn’t make a lick of sense either.

It was a recently purchased car that had a temporary paper license plate taped to the rear window. Just like the law prescribes.

Precisely. The gunpoint portion made no sense. The escalation by the officer made no sense. They could clearly have had a perfectly reasonable conversation.

When stopped by law enforcement it’s all yes sir and yes ma’am. Many cops on authority trip. Don’t let your pride or indignation or righteous anger cause you to get killed by them. Never worth it. Do exactly as they say. If you survive you can later sue. Just protect your life by not questioning or opposing. If you don’t obey politely - you’re quite possibly dead.
