I'm becoming worrisome of a trend that's starting. All are in agreement that a law has been broken. But some infraction will "slide" because it's not as serious as other infractions.
"Yeah, it was illegal to steal, but since the value was under _____, we're not going to do anything about it."
"Yeah it was illegal to do that property damage, but since the perps were underage, we're going to let it go."
"Yeah, prostitution is illegal, but since it's between two consenting adults, we're going to look the other way."
This is starting a slippery slope. I steal a jug of milk and you steal a jug of milk. I get charged because I didn't need it. You get off because you have 3 kids to feed.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Donald Trump… In your guts you know he’s nuts.
Re: Degrees Of Guilty
What about false accusations? Somebody said that somebody else did something, but he didn't do it. What they?
There are people who have been convicted of crimes who could not prove that they did NOT do it.

Re: Degrees Of Guilty
Unfortunately, this is happening more often. People get convicted just because they had a beef with someone who later was killed or disappeared. And like you said, they can't prove they didn't do it.
I think I've seen that sort of thing at least 3 or 4 times on Dateline NBC.
