Trump killed a bazillion people with covid, but has no part in getting the vaccine moving.

Got it.
"Pfizer specifically didn’t participate in Operation Warp Speed fearing politicization of its efforts." NOPE! Why would a CEO lie about something like this? Zero to gain.

They/them, non-binary and proud.

The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

They signed a distribution agreement with the government. They did not take up front R&D funding. The agreement was under OWS.

Pfizer has specifically said they had zero to do with OWS. No money exchanged hands. All that billion dollars means is that if it’s successful they’ll take that much worth. It doesn’t make it Trumps doing that it’s gotten this far.

Evidently public/private partnerships with purchase contracts and distribution agreements don't count in your little black and white world.
Pfizer is part of the Operation Warp Speed program. The U.S. government has agreed to pay Pfizer nearly $2 billion to deliver 100 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine with the option to buy 500 million additional doses.
Operation Warp Speed is a public-private partnership. It was initiated by the Trump administration to accelerate developing, manufacturing, and distributing coronavirus vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics. The Operation Warp Speed program aims to produce and deliver 300 million doses of a coronavirus vaccine by January 2021.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

I'm not sure if it is your TDS that is making you double down on your L. Even the left wing snopes link MCRF posted is saying what I said pretty much. A distribution agreement was negotiated under OWS. OWS also created the conditions for a competitive environment to speed this up. Quit being a dense partisan hack.

Bryce and I both pointed out the merits of the discussion... Am I to assume you cannot refute?

It's pretty easy to justify the expenses for R&D when you have a guaranteed income stream. ALL they really have to do is insure that their cost for an individual dose doesn't exceed $20 and they have guaranteed income.

What business wouldn't love to be in that position??

Locomotive Breath is a favorite.

Point is that Absent Trump Pfizer still would have done this. Having a distribution agreement for after the fact isn’t germane to their vaccines existence.

You just don't get it. There is a very competitive environment to develop an effective vaccine that can be easily distributed. That sense of urgency ABSOLUTELY came from the White House. That is simply indisputable.

It came from the scientific community at large. Urgency is not limited to Trump in any way. So yes it’s absolutely disputable.
