This is not about politics - it's a virus that needs to run it's course. Period.
On Friday, the state also reported an additional 6,542 cases, bringing its total to over 500,000 — the first state to reach that number, and the highest case count in the country.

It was probably an end of month audit. Michigan had an unusually high bump last week because of this too. California has 4 times the population of Michigan, but that count is very high.
