Facebook is heading towards pulling the plug on political advertising because many of Trump's pac's are using hate speech. Facebook isn't the only platform drawing a line on these groups...
Does any of this sound familiar from a number of our new members? Maybe they were displaced from Reddit.
Twitter has started labeling some of President Trump’s tweets as untruthful or glorifying violence, while Snap has said it would stop promoting Mr. Trump’s account on Snapchat because his speech could lead to violence. Twitch, the video game streaming site, suspended Mr. Trump’s account entirely, and internet forum Reddit banned a community of Mr. Trump’s supporters for harassment.

For Kristian Trumpers are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people.

I kinda wonder where they all miraculously came from all at once.

Maybe we can plead this case with MW. Fortunately, hate speech is going away.

There’s no such thing as “hate speech.”
There’s speech, and speech you don’t like. I support all.
One thing thats happening under the surface is that a lot of the nazis and far-right wingers out there are beginning to turn against Trump. A key reason is his position on sec. 230 of the CDA. If the CDA was changed in ways Trump wants, then it will have the side effect of impacting the websites where a lot of his supporters and other right-wingers like to congregate. They like to use forums to circlejerk about da joos and da blackos, and if the CDA is changed to make websites accountable for user speech, then the people running the sites will be more apt to moderate and shut down discussion on whether the jews are making people turn into trannies and other ridiculous things.
The CDA is fine the way it is, people should be accountable for their own words. The only change I would support is mandating websites hold user info for 72 hours. Sure, if you're doing things that would be "credible threats" or posting evidence of felonies on like an image board, you're likely using TOR but never know. Beyond 3 days should be at site owner discretion.

Yes, silence that with which you disagree. Please Daddy, make it stop!
It's OK for radicals to push violence and support breaking the laws, but OMG, someone says something you don't like and it's now "hate speech" that needs to be banned or censored. What's next... books? Magazines??
