We have same day registration in Michigan and no-reason absentee voting. True, regulations vary by state. The 27 percent statistic is nationally.

A lot of folks in their 30s, 40s and 50s have very busy lives, too. They still manage to vote.

Unfortunately turnout among young people has always been abysmal… maybe this represents them waking up. If they turnout at 40% the Republicans could nominate a tik tok influencer and still lose.
