Weren't these bums ranked 4th at the start of the season?

They are down 5 rotation players tonight… my math says that’s not a good thing in basketball.

Herpes Howard doesn't understand rotation. Besides, one of those guys saw any court time at all.

Vegas knew that and still had them as a 4 point favorite at the tip.

This team is a disaster.

Their defense is playing horribly. Giving up 85 to UCF is inexcusable.

I hope Howard isn't suffering "Brady Hoke Syndrome".
I was skeptical about the hiring of both guys.
Then Brady went and faked me out for a hot minute.

I'm not at all yet convinced Juwan Howard will prove to be a bad hire, but if they miss the NCAA tourney both this year and next year, I will want his ass gone.
A few things:

1. They haven't missed the tournament yet, but they need a quick course correction to avoid that fate.

2. Beilein had a major setback in year 3 after unexpected year 2 success.

3. A lot of Beilein teams struggled early in the season and turned it on late.

4. Equating Juwan to Hoke is not a thing.

Next 4 games will tell the tale for Michigan. MSU, Purdue, Illini, Maryland. I think 3 are at Crisler, but they need to right the ship now, or they are headed to the NIT for sure.

I just don't see any adjustments from Howard, either overall on in-game. He's a great recruiter, but I don't think he can coach. That Houston lid was supposed to be a one and done, and he stinks. The transfer they got does nothing and looks lost out there. But no changes happen on the floor. The 3 point defense is terrible.

Saturdays game is H***. If the Spartans turn the ball over like they did yesterday, a distinct possibility, Michigan will win.

4. Equating Juwan to Hoke is not a thing.
I wasn't equating them. I was making an observation, expressing concern and pointing out similarities. None of that is equating.
A 1962 VW Beatle and a 2021 BMW 3 Series both have 4 tires and both have German engineering. It doesn't mean I am equating them to point that out.

I had concerns about both hires due to a lack of a sufficient coaching résumé, in my mind.
In the case of Brady I was worried he would be in over his head as a head coach at the Power 5 level. He was 3 games under .500 in 8 years of head coaching at the so called mid-major level.
I was concerned that it wouldn't magically get better at the Power 5 level.

In the case of Juwan I was concerned at his complete lack of head coaching experience and no experience with college basketball since his playing days 25 years earlier.

Then both of them early on had a great season that made me wonder if perhaps my concerns were unfounded.
In Hokes case we know what happened.
In Howards case the jury is still out for me. Hence my comment "I hope Howard isn't suffering "Brady Hoke Syndrome".

Damn! They took it down because it was so ridiculous!

UM Twitter had a promotion for a Maize Out for the game on Saturday and had a picture accompaning it that was absurd. I still can't post pictures or I'd add it here.
