Most of these songs make me want to change the station faster then I can slap a tick. So here we go:

Queen-Another one bites the dust, Bohemian rhapsody, we will rock you
Steve Miller Band-The joker(I hate this song!!!)
Billy Joel- You may be right
Boston-More then a feeling
Ted Nugent-Stranglehold
Motley Crue-Home sweet home
Pat Benatar -Love is a battlefield
Steve Nicks-Edge of 17( song sucks!!)
Blondie- One way or another, call me
Metallica- Anything from the black album and beyond
Sammy Hagar- I cant drive 55
AC/DC-You shook all night long
Van Halen-Too many to list.

I think Hotel California is another one you can add to the list.

I like Queen a lot, and I wish some of their other hits were played more often, like Radio GaGa or Don't Stop Me Now.

Me and Bobby McGee.

Maybe let a boomer program the music, it seems like the youngsters don't understand that oldsters tired of those songs back when they were first overplayed!

In addition to the ones listed above:
Cum on feel the noise
Don't you forget about me
Barracuda
Pick an ACDC song
Under pressure
Hard to handle
Goddamn Bon Jovi
Hot for teacher needs some time on the bench

Fuck, we just named off most of the playlist at our library stations 😂

Starship "We Built This City" (1985) & Falco "Rock Me Amadeus" (1986) are the worst songs that went to # 1 during the 80's decade!!!

Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You
Journey - Don't Stop Believin'
A-Ha - Take On Me
B52's - Love Shack
Bon Jovi - Livin' on a Prayer
Bryan Adams - Summer of '69

Interesting list, but I didn't know that anyone was playing Hey Jude anymore.

When "We Built This City" came out, the City of Detroit was having trouble finishing the downtown People Mover. Dick Purtan did a parody of this song called "We Bilked This City With The Train That Wouldn't Roll."

Back in late 1985 when WIOG (106.3 FM in Saginaw) played "We Built This City", (instead of the DJ doing the song) they had another voiceover for Flint & the Tri-Cities!! Also Uncle Kracker song "Smile" when Kracker was sayin' 106.3 in one of the lyrics (which was WGER in Saginaw)!!
