Reunion (Joey Levine)

Unread post by matt1 »

Back in 1974, the group Reunion (featuring Joey Levine, former Ohio Express lead singer) did the song "Life Is A Rock (But The Radio Rolled Me)" which went to # 8 (Hot 100) on November 16, 1974 which the 45 single ran 2:54 (edited) or 3:31 (complete version). The B 45 single flip side is a reggae type song called "Are You Ready To Believe" (zoom, zoom, zoom, zoom) BUT the sound is in poor quality. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdjwXlPYK9s

I like 70's AM Pop but I always found that song annoying.

I remember there being custom versions for 'The Voice of Labor' and 'The Big 89' in the Windy City:

"Life is a rock, but CFL (or) WLS rolled me..."

They're probably still alive on UToob.
