When my kids were young in the mid to late 80's and early 90's I would mitigate their love of sweet cereals by mixing boxes in a paper bag then putting them back in boxes as a 50/50 mix...

Not big on cereal, But I knew a girl who liked a Continental breakfast, Thats two Twinkies in the back seat of a Lincoln.
