Started in earnest once the baby boomers turned 18 and slowly began running everything actually... they happened at the same time, I forgive you for getting confused.... everybody else has to pick up the disaster left by the boomers now... thanks...

https://www.usnews.com/news/best-countriesFor the third consecutive year, Canada is the No. 1 country to live in for the best quality of life, according to the U.S. News & World Report 2018 Best Countries list.
In order to help people understand how nations are perceived on a global scale, over 21,000 respondents were asked to evaluate 80 countries by ranking them according to 65 attributes. Among those were economic influence, power, citizenship and quality of life, which collectively helped determine each country's success as a modern nation.
And the USA? Continues to decline unless you consider declining mortality, health and quality of life measures of success.
Damn, Great point!stopnswop2 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 16, 2019 7:16 pmWhy does he have 2 accounts and why does he want himself to shut up half the time
How socialist is Canada? They opened up their healthcare system to allow competition from outside of the system. One Canadian told me thst the private option offered higher quality. Yes, guns are more heavily restricted-but thats normal in most countries since their histories and Constitutions are different. Not so long ago they were drilling pipelines that American companies were involved with. They havent put draconian restrictions on classic cars or even older cars like the socialist city of Paris, France or London, UK and still are tolerant of citizens privately owning gas-powered automobiles. Yes, the leadership is technically left-wing, but compared to people like Alexandria cortez and Kamala Harris on our shores, they are almost downright moderate. Businesses, property owners, enthusiasts of autos/motorcycles, have more rights and freedoms than in many European countries and a lot more than our current crop of left-wing zealots here would like Americans to have. I miss Harper, but its still not all that socialist and the high amount of economic and even personal freedoms keeps the quality of life high.Oldies 84 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 16, 2019 10:10 amNot trying to turn it on Canada, I love Canadians, I married a Canasian, The point I’m making is simple, Turkey always drums up articles about crime in this country, Our USA, But never about Canada, Yes this country does have a ton of shit holes as you put it TC, That’s no doubt and so does Canada, So here is my list of cities in Canada that are the worst to live in, (Based on having family and friends living in these cities and telling the real story.)
#1 Toronto
#2 London
#3 Windsor
#4 Montreal
#5 Vancouver
#6 Quebec City
That’s my list of the 6 worst cities to live in Canada
Now, The next thing Dudes, First TC the question was for Turkey not you, Again you have to speak for Turkey and to be honest I just don’t get that. The second thing Turkey why all the negative stories about the United States, Dude you vacation here, If it’s that bad then keep you ass at home in Canada. I love both the U.S.A. and Canada. That’s it for now guys. I voiced my opinion on this subject. Oh, Canada has a Socialist Government TC, And it’s not working. Just to inform you my friend.
Not at all. We're living under an extreme right, pro-capitalist, anti-working class Liberal government. But we're going to change that on October 21.
Yes. But for sure I'll be home on October 21.
Working for his lost cause party back at home...
That’s what I was trying to ask him... he’s either active in an actual party or does whatever the union does during election time...TC Talks wrote: ↑Sun Feb 17, 2019 12:04 amWhich party? In the 14 years I've been on the board, TT has talked politics, but I have never read about him being active in a party.
Both. I'm a lifelong member and party activist in Canada's New Democratic Party. I'm also a lifelong activist in my Union. I'm involved in every campaign here at home. Sometimes my Union asks me to do extra. In 2016 I was asked to work on Hillary's campaign. Had it been Bernie, I'd have jumped at it. But I couldn't see much difference between Hillary and the Republicans, so it bowed out.
