Surprisingly I've heard that staion several times here in London ON, about 200 miles away.
I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.

R-L must not have had the directional pattern entered correctly in its database at some prior point in time.
I've not been up north that far since CMU acquired 94.3 FM, but I can tell you that as a commercial station, 94.3's reception was always terrible in the Cadillac area, to the point of being unusable.

It largely supplemented 106.7 when Northern existed.

When the transmitter was near Leland with 15 kW, and before all the low power facilities and the Chatham station, you could hear a station in Pennsyvania on 94.3 as well as the Leland station, originally WLEL, in Southeastern Michigan quite regularly with a good receiver and an Antennacraft/Archer FM-10 antenna.
WCMV is only about 6 kW to the Southeast according to the FCC pattern envelope, and as we see with WLAV, probably considerably less. But from that location on Traverse City's version of Mt. Wilson, even 10 and 250 watt translators fill the terrain hole quite well.

It has a phenomenal signal in TC proper, no doubt.
There was certainly a time when The Fox FM (as variety hits or classic hits) and WSRT (as AC) had formats that could be sold in tandem but that was quite a while ago.It largely supplemented 106.7 when Northern existed.

When it changed to non-comm a duplicate LMS record is typically formed, without DA data.Ben Zonia wrote: ↑Sat Jun 24, 2023 12:17 amActual WCMV 94.3 from Radio Locator.
