Best source for quality on digital streaming?

Is there any site that actively compares the quality of the various sources of digitized music, whether streaming or just downloading?

Seems like there's a lot of sources where the audio is preprocessed before digitizing (dynamically compressed or filtered) or the bitrate is just so low that you lose a lot of the quality. H*** difference just on the youtube streams. Some seem so bad it's like listening to AM on an old transistor radio!

What are some of the generally good or bad sources? Are there other shortcuts folks are taking in the digitizing or streaming that impact quality?

I have a software (Adobe Creative Suite) that can analyze files. An online resource would be difficult because you don't have the source file, only what is offered via streaming. Also, most streaming is not accessible via a standard http url.

The three places to manage your stream quality (at least with Roku)

Modem, Router/Wifi and HDMI cable (with 4k). I obviously have much better quality with a cat cable than wireless. And there are modems and handle streaming (Qos settings) than the basic one provided by Spectrum.
