Re: Michigan football - predictions

Jimmy at the press conference yesterday: "I feel like we're very close offensively and very close to hitting our stride, hitting on all cylinders," he said. "Really good evidence to back that up and also what I see."

They scored 10 points the entire game.

Re: Betting public not loving MSU and UM this week

FWIW, I do really like the under (47 1/2) in the Michigan-Iowa game though. Nailed that one! There is a Big Ten adage...."Away Iowa is a different team than Kinnick Iowa". Proved very true Saturday. I did think the Michigan defense was impressive, however Stanley was terrible. No major early moveme...

Re: Michigan football - predictions

Couldn't agree with you Michigan fans more.....they have got to make a QB change if they want to salvage this season. Problem is Jimmy sure doesn't seem to be talking like he's gonna do it. And playing Illinois is only going to make it harder because even Patterson will probably look good against Lo...

Re: Impeachment

You wonder if that would be so bad for the Republicans. The conservatives with a brain that wouldn't vote for the orange lunatic would certainly vote for Pence. Getting him in office sooner-than-later might make him appear presidential come November 2020. Maybe some national catastrophe hapepns and ...

Re: Betting public not loving MSU and UM this week

Spartan line has stayed at 20/20.5 all week. More money has come in on Iowa, the line is now 3 1/2 everywhere.

Personally, I am not betting a side in either game. FWIW, I do really like the under (47 1/2) in the Michigan-Iowa game though.

Booger

How, in God's name, did this guy get the MNF analyst job?!? He NEVER shuts up, and does nothing but state the blatantly obvious. “Pittsburgh loves to get you in 3rd and Long situations”---What NFL team doesn't?!? “These teams don’t like each other.”-----Really? "They need to get first downs so they ...

Re: Ausmus canned

Obviously, it looks like Joe Madden is headed home. Any Tiger fan knows what a lousy manager Ausmus was, but that said, Eppler, the Angel GM did him no favors. His off-season aquisitions of Harvey, Cahill, and that Tribe reliever blew up in his face. They had no pitching to begin with considering Ot...

Re: 2019 Detroit Lions

Same...old...Lions. The Lions always take one of two forms: - They flat out suck - They show potential, but find ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, especially in big games (like what happened today). The fumble at the 1 yard line is absolutely inexcusable, resulted in what likely was a...

Re: Impeachment

One thing I will say no matter where you stand it is NEVER Ok for the President to imply the threat of a civil war if this impeachment thing goes thru. This is inviting chaos and all the wackos out there to come to his defense. Totally unacceptable! The invocation of a civil war was met with outrag...

Betting public not loving MSU and UM this week

Spartan line opened at 17 and has been bet up to 20 1/2. Michigan was -7 and has been bet down to 4 1/2.

Stafford questionable Sunday

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2 ... or-sunday/

Why can't we have good things? That means the Lions might lose by 30 instead of only 21.

Re: 2019 Detroit Lions

Thank goodness for ties. :razz And it should've been 3-0! The Chiefs look banged up in a few key spots and the Pack were beaten at Lambeau; y'think the stars are aligning for our boys? I have very little faith that they will still be on top of the NFC North standings on Sunday evening. Stranger thi...

Re: Sane Rational Discussion...

Nice in theory, but the left, as well as some on the right, is more interested in taking him down than working on issues that are important for the betterment of the Country. This started on the day he was elected and continues through to this day. They will fight anything that might be perceived a...
