Re: NBA Draft Lottery
They only had a 14% chance along with Washington so I don't see some big Piston hating conspiracy in play. .

Re: Local 4 buyout packages
Hopefully they don't have sticker shock when that runs out. Half way decent insurance will run $700 to over $1000 a month at that age (Over 55)
Not sure what the job market would be in that industry at that age. I'm guessing not good.

Re: Michigan sign stealing scandal
Perhaps the crappy OSU-run NPR station, instead of asking Gene Smith about Michigan's season, should instead be asking him if Ohio Stadium is dangerous for spectators, given the fact an attendee of commencement fell ( or jumped ) to her death days ago? Last I read it was being investigated as a sui...

I would mostly agree except that .500 might be a bit lofty.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 7:20 pmThis is a .500 ball club as constructed. Those expecting this squad to be a playoff contender this year have excessively lofty expectations.

Re: Pro-Palestinian terrorist protesters take over Columbia University building
It is a bit of head scratcher that dozens of armed conflicts are happening right now in the world, that kill and maim innocent civilians, yet the only one left wing people openly care about is the one where Jews are winning after being attacked. It raise an anti-Semite question. I am horrified that...

Re: Detroit Tigers 2024
My wife and I went to the game last night. Christmas gift from the kids. At least 3 maybe 4 times a Jared Goff chant engulfed the stadium. Started in the 2nd inning I think when the Tigers were down by 3 and had committed 3 errors at that point. It was going on loudly as the game was over and fans w...

Listening to 97.1 it seems Brad Holmes thought Arnold was in a whole different league than all the other CB's.
Evidently the Eagles didn't think so sine they took the CB out of Toledo a couple picks earlier.

Re: Let's talk about the merits of the NY case against Trump
. As for commercials, does Tide get your whites whiter, are Busch's Baked Beans really better than any other brand on the market? Is quality job one at Ford? You get the drift right? I find it odd anyone would compare commercials to sell products with political ads to get elected. Product ads tell ...

Re: Let's talk about the merits of the NY case against Trump
The whole thing is a bit confusing to me. The actual payments of hush money are not illegal. The way he hid it to avoid bad publicity before the election may or may not have been a crime. But when election season gets going we can all see bold faced lies day after day in the form of TV ads designed ...

To be clear "not guilty" does not equate to "innocent" in court records.

Re: March PPM's
I'll give 97.1 some credit here. I thought for sure they would fall significantly after the Lions season ended. I thought the same. With the Wings out of the playoffs and once the NFL draft is over next week can the Tigers keep the numbers up? Personally I am not much for music so I toggle between ...

Re: Reauthorization of Surveillance Program Violates 4th Amendment
It's been around for 15 or 16 years with bipartisan support and no real evidence they are systematically attacking average citizens.
