Re: Let's talk about the merits of the NY case against Trump

This should at least spin off the Kristian vote. If this isn't God's will, what is?

I'm going to go on the record right now and predict that not one of these 34 counts will survive on appeal. Not sure how long it will take, but this conviction will ultimately be thrown out. The number of appealable issues are numerous.
I for one, admire your unwavering loyalty to Felon Trump.

Aren't you drummed out of Congress if you're a convicted felon?
This congress? It's a credential.

Until the conviction is finalized through the appeals process, he will be able to vote.

How much jail time will Trump get?

Trump antagonized the judge this entire trial. He has showed zero remorse.

I think he will get jail time, but this is his first offense and these cases typically don't involve jail time. Probation likely and many fines.

There will be an appeal, but give us one week at Rikers.

Re: I predict that Trump will be found not guilty in NY case

But I highly doubt he’s going to skate on all 34. His lawyers closing statement suggests they don’t have nearly as much faith in prevailing as you do. Not every charge is about the ledger entry. Lying to police, and obstruction of justice are part of this too. That too... the whole idea is that he ...

Re: I predict that Trump will be found not guilty in NY case

It's pretty obvious that the outcome will unfortunately be not guilty. With 34 counts, it's not entirely up or down. I predict he will be found guilty of some of them. If you read the jury instructions, it's not as simple as Cohen blowing the State's case .. https://static01.nyt.com/newsgraphics/do...
