Re: Songs With Famous Unexpected Back Up Singers And Session Musicians

Also the late Jerry Garcia played pedal steel guitar on Brewer & Shipley's 1971 song "One Toke Over The Line". I had to go back and listen to that song again, By God, there IS a steel guitar in that song. :o I think he did some pedal steel on Graham Nash's "Songs for Beginners" album as well.

Exactly! Weather radios are to storms as smoke detectors are to fires.

“Soul Coaxing” by Raymond LeFevre 1968. It wasn't until 30 seconds into this song that I finally realized it was an instrumental :red

"Magic Town” by The Vogues 1966. Another great song I'd forgotten about.

I cannot listen to WGVU AM 1480/850 when I am working on something that requires concentration. They continue to play songs I have not heard for a long time. I always have to stop and listen.

Re: Wearing fur until cops stop killing blacks people

Years ago, I heard of a man who developed three-legged chickens for KFC. As it ended up, those chickens were so fast that no one could catch them.

Re: Wearing fur until cops stop killing blacks people

What is it about restrictions on chickens being raised in town? I just do not get it!

I always liked the $100,000 Bar. When adjusted for inflation, they would have to label it as the $1,2000,000 Bar today.

One of the last times I was in the tool section at Sears, another gentleman and I were talking about how wonderful it was shopping in the store years ago when it was on top. It was like being at a visitation at a funeral home.
