Re: Sinclair Names Kevin Dunaway Vice President/General Manager in Flint
Former WEYI Meteorologist Kevin Usealman wrote on his Facebook: “This is the guy that told me I wasn't "close enough" to someone to go to their funeral. Sinclair material through and through. Welcome to Flint! Now running Fox 66. He will join the current news director and two of the three worst hum...

Re: Sinclair’s Sports Channels Prepare Bankruptcy, Putting Team Payments at Risk
MW: If local newscasts weren’t making money, you’d see local newscasts being dropped all across the country by all station groups. That’s simply not happening because this is a Sinclair issue. Other station groups have figured out how to adapt their strategies to still make significant cash. Statio...

Re: Sinclair lying to investors
Stink, it's hard to believe that anyone would put in the amount of work on a smear campaign that you do, knowing it means absolutely nothing to anyone but you.
You should seek help.
Seriously.

Re: MAB Awards
I’m told that NONE of the local news directors bothered to show up. Pretty sad state of affairs when even GMs and news directors don’t support the state’s broadcasters association. No wonder why this industry is in the sad state it’s in. It starts at the top. Be better Ken, Jayne, Karin, Brock and ...

Re: Union Time
When you pay about 1.5 % in dues, it really doesn't make much sense to have someone negotiate you a 2% raise. Plus all contracts are written to favor the employer. That's a fact. 12s contract isn't worth the paper it is written on.
Unions are useless in this day and age.

Re: Union Time
M60: I no longer work at 25-66. But if I had to pay union dues to force management to negotiate with the labor force — as opposed to what happened — yes, absolutely. It would be worth the cost considering everyone who was laid off, the worsening work conditions, and the least amount of local news b...

How may jobs did they save after 5 started being hubbed in Atlanta?BehindTheScenes wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 2:20 pmThe union saved many of our jobs at 5 at the start of the pandemic while the rest of Meredith suffered pay cuts.
Or when 12 was hubbed out of Ohio?
Same Union.

Re: All bets are off
Interesting “Dishes with Dave” Facebook Live broadcast earlier today. Several people asked about all the changes happening at 25-66. Dave said he couldn’t talk about it right now, but would be able to soon. He said he wasn’t leaving Michigan. He said he would still be on social media. But he said h...

Re: All bets are off
Cathouse: you are right on target. Bondy will be the next to announce he’s leaving. He’s extremely frustrated that he was sold a bill of goods that brought him from bigger TV markets like Pittsburg back to Flint with the promise that 25-66 was going to win. But with chronic mismanagement, he now wa...

Soundchaser: again you prove my point. Thank you for never providing any actual information. You attack me but yet never provide any details where I’m wrong. That’s because you know I’m right. As Yoda would say: “clueless, you are!” I don't feel it's right to give out other people's personal inform...
