It’s a finite resource. We WILL RUN OUT in the next 100 years or so. Obsolescence will happen whether you approve or not. If we all believed that "peak oil" BS in the 70's we'd have been out of oil and gas a couple decades ago! What do you think Fracking is? It is getting the oil out of increasingl...

Re: Must Haves

I thought MW and others said Jeeps were shitboxes. I see tons of various Jeeps on the side of the road broke down or abandoned in my travels. An obnoxiously larger number of Chevy Equinoxes and Dodge Journeys too. I don’t know if that’s a proxy for build quality or clientele quality… they may be mo...

Re: Biden agrees to debate Trump

If either of them shits the bed on stage (or actually shits their pants), they could seemingly be replaced, right? Very odd to have a presumptive nominee debate... It makes sense considering the amount of voting that happens in September and October now. By the time they commissions debates happen ...

That sure is a lot of tank ammo. Hopefully, it brings a swift end to this all.
Did you miss the “not expected to yield any deliveries for several years” part or do you have an Amish definition of swift?

Re: More stupidity from Dana Nessel

The suits state attorneys general filed against 3M, et al. for PFAS made sense. Harm in precise physical locations could be directly attributed to the substance. I am unsure how one can prove what portion of climate change can be directly attributed to burning of fossil fuels. I am also unsure how ...

Re: Local 4 buyout packages

This seems faintly reminiscent of what Channel 7 started doing to their older talent in 2009. Maybe 4 can do a better job handling it.

Re: 2024 Presidential Primary Polling Thread

I would point out that Haley is still getting 20% in a lot of places including 25% in closed primary Republican only Maryland’s primary tonight. He has a massive problem and he won’t try to get her voters and as much as that gladdens my heart Beemer should be nervous and understand Trump is a fool f...

Re: Local 4 buyout packages

Two new developments to the story, Devin is not taking the buyout. And 4 poached Jessica Dupnack from Fox 2. Clearly Local 4 is clearing cap-space and trying to get younger and cheaper because they will be attempting to fill most of the positions with new talent above and below the line. Will WDIV ...

Tucker would be PERFECT for the cult. He believes Sandy Hook denier Alex Smith is a prophet.

Tucker says literally anything whether he believes it or not.

Re: 2024 Presidential Primary Polling Thread

Trump +13 in Nevada. Election almost certainly won't be that close in that state, but I do think Nevada is the most likely pickup for Trump with Georgia being a very close second. That would put him at 254 compared to 2020, then it comes down to 4 states - MI, WI, PA, and AZ. He would need MI alone...

My last two vehicles had or have it in addition to normal cruise so you have both to choose from.
So the adaptive cruise function is able to be turned off so it won’t work in a menu somewhere I take it?

I love adaptive cruise. Set it and forget it and it keeps with flow of traffic without you having to do jack shit except steer.
Same here… I had it on a Buick Lacrosse… adjusted to traffic flow and it wasn’t even noticeable. If you get into the open lane it adjusts back to speed. Incredible.
