Re: Not So Storm Ready
Woolfolk never moved to the Flint area. That says everything you need to know... He’s just waiting for an opportunity to jump ship. Spence, Bondy, Bajjey are the only people holding this station together right now. When they leave (not if), Sinclair might as well run us like WNWO in Toledo (which h...

You should go work for Scripps, sinklair.
They seem to be doing quite well. Warren Buffett even chipped in cash for their purchase of ION media.

Re: WTVS Channel 56.5
Already showing some programming right now.
It’s a kids channel, so it got whacked just like 56.2 and that god awful TBD on 50.4 and that country crap channel on 50.5.

The best thing about the Detroit DMA is there are no Nexstar or Sinclair stations.

Re: Evolution of Cable TV Channels.
I much prefer WeatherNation over TWC. WN just reports the weather, not much else. That’s a good thing.

Re: Flint viewers left behind again
I agree Sinklair. It is incredibly odd to me that Sanilac county is in the Detroit DMA. I live mostly in the Detroit DMA, but am also up here a decent amount of time as well. What the Thumb really needs is a 100 to 150 kW repeater for the Flint DMA main .1 channels if done via UHF. Just south of Ba...

I never fill out those “confidential” surveys. HR departments are liars.

Now I am not sure exactly what it is. If there is any sign of religious or a selling crap channel...poof...it’s gone.

Re: 25-66 misleading national must-runs COVID edition
One thing I’ve learned in life already is if I want accurate news, I go outside the US to get it.
BBC, France24, Aljazeera English, Deutsche Welle, etc.

Re: Flint viewers left behind again
We can hope! One thing that would make me buy a ATSC 3.0 sooner is if WBSF became the Flint DMA lighthouse station. It is the strongest signal up here in the Thumb area and I could use it to get a reliable main channel signal for all others like WJRT, WNEM, etc, etc. But that would require Sinclair ...

Re: CICO on 19.1
I agree on CBET. I have a separate high-VHF antenna fixed on it. I like having it for Canadian news and the occasional hockey game.
CICO doesn’t really have what warrants a fixed antenna for me.

WTOL (CBS) Toledo approved for power increase by FCC.
FCC finally granted WTOL a construction permit for increasing signal power from 16 to 26 kW.
WTOL is Virtual 11 and RF11 as well.
