There was recently a family medical issue.

There is not a soul in the metro area that doesn't wish Kim and her family well...prayers go a long way in response to her difficult times. Alas, there is little in the way of reasons to keep watching WDIV news when Kim is not doing the weather. The ‘replacements’ are representative of the old saying ‘the whole is less[ than the sum of its parts’. And would someone at CH 4 please tell Bryan Schuerman to wash his hair! Over the weekend it was so obviously dirty it was turd-like. And if it’s a toupee, ask for a refund. Sigh…there used to be so many reasons to be a fan of Local 4 but if you take Ms. Adams out of the equation those former reasons are fast becoming ‘albatrosic’.

I wondered if something was up with Kim Adams when she was nowhere to be seen during the tornado coverage. I sorta expected to see the Chief Meteorologist doing some of the reporting.

WDIV is hurting bad. Their Weather and Sports are about worthless. On second thought so is their news department.

Channel 7 imploded and hung on for awhile after in the demo… maybe 3 years or so… it takes time for people to sour on a station. But the product is horrible at 4 now.

While I understand where you’re coming from, I don’t foresee 4 struggling in ratings
7 has multiple taped newscasts a day. Is that really a winning recipe?
2 I feel is stuck somewhere between a news department and infotainment.
62 is still trying to go in on time and out on time.
