Jaden Ivey is injured yet again.

I'm fed up with him at this point.

I can't believe what I just saw......

FanDuel just announced its Pistons broadcast team for the 25-26 season, and the in-studio analyst will be.....DWANE CASEY!!!!!

Guess we can't get rid of him that easily...

Not a great opener for the Pistons in Chicago. The Bulls had a 23 point lead at one point.

Bulls 115, Pistons 111.

Poor shooting for Duncan Robinson (1 of 7) and Cunningham (8 of 23). I'm surprised they lost by only 4 after trailing by as much as 23.

Holland and Stewart each had great games for Detroit.

The fact the NBA still hasn't finished its Beasley gambling investigation is a disgrace.

There were two separate schemes doing different things. The first had six arrested. The second involved the mob and included Billups and rigging illegal poker games for the mob in the New York City area. That one involves 31 people.

Maybe Billups will finally lose his HC gig in Portland. He should've been fired ages ago.

The Detroit News coverage of the Billups story included something that was unusual. At the end of the story, it added a disclaimer.

Do 950 WWJ anchors still whore themselves by doing live reads for online gambling sites?

The Pistons got their first win in Houston 115-111.

Duren was ejected after elbowing Amen Thompson in the face. Lots of minutes for Paul Reed and Javonte Green.

The home opener is Sunday vs. Boston. Thr Celtics are 0-2.

That was a good win for the Pistons. Total nail biter of a game. Durant scored 37 for Houston, with 16 of those points coming from the charity stripe. The Pistons knocked down 16 threes versus 10 for Houston, which proved to be the difference maker.

Houston went to the FT line twice as many times as DET.

DET recorded 11 blocked shots to Houston's 6, which is an impressive feat given Houston's taller lineup.

Highlights:
-Great performances by Cunningham, Ausar Thompson and Robinson.
-Paul Reed was awesome off the bench and was great at filling the void caused by Duren's first half ejection. 13 points and 9 boards in just 19 minutes of action.
-Bickerstaff's deployment of his bench players and ability to motivate his team in unfavorable circumstances (Levert 's unavailability+ Duren's early ejection).

Cunningham has put on some bulk in the off-season. He was a very good two way player a year ago. He might be even better as a defender this year.

Low-lights:
-Duren receiving a flagrant 2 for elbowing Amen Thompson.
-Beef Stew's lack of offense and fouling out despite playing only 17 minutes.
-Ron Holland fouling out despite playing only 13 minutes. He had 11 points, 2 steals and several boards, though, in those limited minutes.
-Caris Levert has a knee injury of some kind and did not even dress. Not good. Back court is already thin thanks to Ivey's injury and Langdon's bone headed decision not to re-sign Schroder.

I didn't recognize Cunningham without his 'fro. :lol

I was switching back-and-forth with the World Series and didn't see the last quarter. Apparently it was a good road win.

Three Pistons contests over the next two weeks will be televised nationally (with no local blackouts supposedly) on Peacock, including Monday's contests against Cleveland.

A premium subscription ($11 per month) or higher is required.

Some credit cards have good cash back deals for Peacock right now. Amex Blue gives $10.99 cash back up to two times if $10.99 or more is spent.
