Biden and Harris want to change the SCOTUS and Trump wants this for Social Security. What do both plans have in common? They exist only to try and get votes. Congress will never allow either to happen.

How can you tax something that won’t exist? Project 2025 will disband social security.

I agree with the article that it's just campaign talk.
What Trump should add is, in order to make up for the contributions lost because of the senior tax cut, he is going to eliminate the limit on the amount of earnings subject to taxation for a given year. A billionaire pays 62 million into Social Security.
Then if by chance he does get in, he introduces income cap elimination legislation, saying the senior tax cut is contingent on Congress passing that legislation.
Congress will never do it of course because they, their family and friends are all millionaires. So when the seniors don't get the tax cut he promised, Trump can blame it on Congress.
