My wife and I have pretty much defaulted to the Q as our go to station in Grand Rapids. The vibe is chill and the music selection is pretty good most of the time.

But everytime the WZZM weather report comes on we are assaulted with a whiny & nasally voice who's seemed unusually preoccupied with 'HEAT WAVES' over the past few weeks. This person never identifies themselves, but is not a fit for the station and sounds like something you'd hear on WTHS or another college station.

Dear management, tell WZZM you'll record the weather and they can let their intern get back to typos in your headlines.

Cumulus stations hasn't had WZZM on since the Matt Hanlon Citadel days, About twice an afternoon and evenings until late 2011 WLAV for example had Juliet Dragos give headlines in a monotone way, Then When Citadel became Cumulus, WZZM went to Townsquare in 2011 or 12 for weather but got rid of the news headlines instead had FB/HW do stupid banter on 13 mornings with Lauren Stanton laughing at everything they said up, until late 2018 I think.

Isn't Cumulus using Fox 17 for weather cut-ins these days?

Were Until about a year ago, Now Fox17 does weather cut ins on Townsquare stations.
