Here’s the problem in a nutshell:
These adults (yes, they’re adults) are referred to as “kids.” Either their parents are paying for their education, they got a full ride sports scholarship, or they’re taking on crippling, massive debt, and hoping someone else will pay it for them or they might just Cheri Hardmon the whole thing.
They’re on their parents’ insurance policy until they’re 27.
We’re treating adults like children and wondering why they’re acting like children.
It’s the parents’ fault!
Stop babying your adult offspring!
Adults must take responsibility whether they’re 18 84 or 115.
Grow up! All of you! Stop giving certain adults a pass!
Then you hear a coach say, “These kids really played their hearts out!”
They’re not kids. Stop treating them like it.
