It looks like Fox 2 is using a temp set for its news and Channel 7 is using the same thing. If they are both getting a new set, I think it’s long overdue. Channel 7’s current set is 11 years old now and Fox 2’s is 6 years old.

Hope the new fox2 set has lots of LED light strings and panels decor.

Otherwise they should keep it how it is as its not that old.

Fox 2 confirmed it this morning. They are getting a brand new set.

Does that mean they're getting rid of that stupid "J" shaped desk at Fox2? I always thought that was a stupid design. It's nicely done, but just a stupid design (to me).

I dunno why. I always thought it was supposed to look like the number 2.

Hmmm. They have money for a new set? If he's still not wearing them maybe they can splurge and get that guy on at 11:00am a few ties!

Fox 2 needs to go on a producer/writer hiring spree or all those anchors will have nothing to say on their pretty new set.

Its been awhile since I watch channel 4. They could use a make over as well.

The same blue set. The company colors is not even blue. Makes zero sense to have the primary color of your set as blue when your station colors are red and white.

I am a Hipster and as you can imagine, I love that exposed brick set Fox 2 News is currently using. It is very creative. They did something none of the other local stations' news departments were doing by using that set. I am sad to hear that Fox 2 News will no longer be using that awesome set soon but I understand that it is a new decade and (sadly) Hipster designs are no longer trendy.

what dumpster can I find the old set in ? I'd like to set it up in my apartment

Looks like a lot of changes is going on at Fox 2. They are slowly phasing out the old Fox search lights in their logo and using the plain ol ‘Fox 2.’

As for the morning show, I suspect a completely different look in a couple months. All I can say or will say.

I think Fox is forcing WJBK to step up its game and are bringing on all of these changes. Quite frankly, it’s looooong overdue.
