While Fox 2 and WDIV cut back to national programming around 8 PM, Mike Taylor kept going tracking the storms until after 9:30 on WXYZ. Well done.

Was it a bad storm or something WDIV since they are NBC was going to go to the Olympic coverage unless it was a tornado warning? Not much happened on the west side of the state warnings were issued around 5:55PM only winds were only around 55MPH they expired at 6:45PM no other thunderstorm warnings were issued in West Michigan.

Considering that south of 696 is flooding constantly and north of I-69 is in a moderate drought, I would say that's a good sign of global warming.

Another day that ends in Y, another rainy day/weather event.
Sirens were going off in Brighton again (so says my girlfriend), but I was coming up 23 from Ann Arbor. It started sprinkling around N. Territorial but by Silver Lake Rd, many of us had to pull over as the rain was so heavy we couldn't see. White Lake Twp. isn't terribly far from here. Wasn't it just a few weeks ago there was an incident in Howell? This shit is nuts.
