Round Six wrote: Mon Feb 12, 2024 4:05 pm Like I said earlier in this thread, I gotta feeling Stone will be a regular for years to come on Dan Miller's Sunday night sports wrap up.
For regular appearances like this, does the guest (Stoney) get paid?

Can one of you jokers tell me how to quote someone's post? When I click the "quotes" to a post in the upper right, it shows up with a bunch of crazy punctuation and stuff.

I think you have one of the best usernames on here. I always catch a grin when I see it.

The "crazy stuff" are formatting tags. Simply write your remarks below all of those, and you'll be fine.
Thank you!!!

I enjoyed younger Stoney much better. Not a big fan of old man Stoney but I would take him all day over "smartest guy in the room" Costa. Can't stand Costa. Friday will be my last day listening to the morning show.

Now we get Valenti in the afternoon, and Valenti’s clone in the morning. I kind of liked Costa when he had his own style, before taking up mannerisms of Mikey.

I remember listening to the Sunday Sports Albom back in the day thinking whoever this other guy is, he's so much better than the little scab, Mitch.

In my personal view, Stoney was the best full time talent on Detroit sports radio right up to his final day.

He is irreplaceable as far as I'm concerned.
I whole heartedly agree MW, I'd like to add the Jamie & Stoney was a great morning show, RIP Jamie
All my years of morning radio listening (Detroit),my favorites were Stoney & Jamie, JJ & The Morning Crew, and Drew & Mike....
I do like Jon Jansen, Costa, well jury is out on him...

Absolutely. My dad was an early listener and supporter of sports radio. Stoney and Wojo was always on in his car...even though the WDFN signal sucked even back then lol. It was hard watching him choke up while talking about Jamie.

They're starting to pack it in. Dying or retiring. This blows.
