Rob's not a doctor, but Frank IS an accountant.
Re: Ron Cameron
Ron again on the plight of the poor owners.

Will someone answer the phone?!
Re: Ron Cameron
It's not that Ron always sticks up for owners in general, but he does in any owner-player debate.

That’s a pretty extensive Wikipedia page!

Re: Ron Cameron
A little after the fact to ask, but did Ron ever mention Ferris State's D-II football championship?
Back in his WXYZ days, he made a visit to Ferris, probably for hockey at that time.
Watched a Christmas-themed M*A*S*H, "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and the "Star Trek" talks a reprogrammed space probe into killing itself, instead of tuning in.

I was wondering when someone would discover it. I'll take the blame and/or credit.sparty89 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 11:47 pmwho would put in the effort to research and post that?ShempLives wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 9:24 pm Ron now has an entry in Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ron_Camer ... rtscaster)
Hopefully, it will help with two things:
- Introducing thread newcomers to Ron.
- Corrections to Ron's always faulty memory.
Re: Ron Cameron
Thanks. The footnote work was the hardest part. And I've got a feeling there's much more that could be added to the page. The Personality section could easily be expanded to epic length.

Re: Ron Cameron
I was disappointed that we didn't get a big "Merry Christmas" from Ron, but I guess it was only natural that the show ended with some more muddled communication between Ron and his producer.
