I know I heard "Oh Well" on WCSX in the Summer of '17.
"Can't Sleep" by The Rockets is another good one. Was overjoyed to see Jim McCarty play with Mystery Train in Bay City in a bar gig this summer.
Acceptable registrations in the queue through June 3 at 5:00p ET have now been activated. Enjoy! -M.W.

Detroit Rock

I don’t think any self respecting active rock station would play it. As for classic rock stations, there’s a chance but I doubt it as Ted is completely irrelevant musically anymore, even in Detroit.

You know what I want? An alt that doesn't try to sound like 955.
I also want Wheels to stop playing almost the same shit as CSX.
Then again, uniqueness in radio is long gone unless you can fly under the corporate radar (somehow) or are on the left side of the dial.

It’s sorta strange that the only place you can find uniqueness now is small town radio that is NOT satellite fed. I can think of 3 stations immediately that fit that description with their playlists - Grayling’s Q100 and their AOR format (playing songs I’ve never heard of at times) and the Thumb’s classic rock I-92 [diverse deep classic rock that I have not heard in years, even on SXM) and Cruise 102.1….thatonedude wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 10:02 pmYou know what I want? In western Ohio, 94.3 WKKI "K-94" Celina-St.Mary's-Lima is pretty unique too. They really rock out at night, in particular. Locally owned rock station for many years.Realist wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 6:21 pmIt’s sorta strange that the only place you can find uniqueness now is small town radio that is NOT satellite fed.
