WILX Mornings
Re: WILX Mornings
Emily's LinkedIn now lists the WILX position as Sept 2020-Aug 2021, so yup... she's definitely gone. She hasn't listed her new position yet though.
Re: WILX Mornings
Emily has posted on her Facebook that she accepted the Chief Met position at Fox 32 in Chicago.

any idea what market or station that Emily will be at? I miss seeing her beautiful face...nonewsgoodnews wrote: ↑Tue Aug 31, 2021 1:54 pmThe day before Emily was supposed to start -- she got an offer somewhere else out of state and told Wilx she was leaving. Whole plan blew up on them. A year getting paid to do nothing at WILX completely worthless. So, back to Darrin whose retirement happened before Emily was even in the picture. Looks like grass wasn't greener on the side so it worked out for him.
so- all that buzz for nothing new but a new logo.

Has any on-air talent ever gone directly from Lansing to Chicago? I think this may be a first.

Re: WILX Mornings
That's impressive, but of the folks currently on that station's weather staff, I'd feel really shitty about being passed over in favor of someone coming from tiny Lansing, MI.
Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.
