To me, eighty three people dying means something. The longer this shit stays around, the more likely it cycles and behaves like the flu.

Son, posts like this make you appear no better than the trolls that you argued to remove from this board. You see that, don't you?

I think you need to give it a rest. Cut down the internet for a while, find a job, and success can maybe clear the fog.
Donald Trump was and is the best president this country has ever had. And he will return to glory as our leader again.

But 83 didn’t die… unless you count the folks they add in as vital records reviews who died months ago. The virus is with us… it’s time to move on. People die of the flu too… that’s where we are with this as well.

Wrong. They look through records of people who died in the last few days.. People do die at home and the morgue sees them from there. The only people who are somewhat protected are those vaccinated.

Ok.. the world is moving on.. you are vaccinated, the CDC has said you don’t need a mask indoors if you’re vaccinated. Transmission is way way down from vaccinated people… celebrate the achievements here and start to return to normal. This obsession isn’t healthy.

If by "somewhat" you mean 20x more than a non-vaccinated person. I don't think you truly grasp the concept of what 95% efficacy really means.

Michigan Athletics wrote:We hope you and your family are staying safe. We would like to provide another update from the state of Michigan regarding COVID and its impact on Michigan Athletics event capacities for the 2021-22 season.

Earlier today, Governor Whitmer made the following announcements:

Beginning Tuesday, June 1, all outdoor capacity limits will be removed, including at sporting events. Indoor settings will increase capacity from 30% to 50%.Beginning July 1, all broad COVID restrictions will be lifted.

For the time being, U-M will continue to follow our current face covering policy that requires masks indoors, on university transportation and outdoors if in groups of 100 or more.

Based upon this latest order and what we now know, this guidance from the State of Michigan clears the path for Michigan Athletics events to return to full capacity beginning with the fall competition. Should federal, state, local or campus public health guidelines change, we will update you as soon as that information becomes available.

The last year has taught us how quickly the anticipated can change, but we are optimistic and planning to see everyone back again this fall. Prior to the fall season, we will communicate a set of general safety guidelines and steps that our department has taken to ensure the health and safety of student-athletes, staff and guests. I predict Michigan will win at least as many games in the "Big House" as they did last year.

All well and good until we have a fall outbreak. I sincerely hope that it's over, but people will need booster shots by then if it's not.

Besides as I have said, there are still people dying and struggling with long haul COVID. It's not like this is over.

And people die of the flu and we don't stay hidden away. Your gloom and doom is not good...for you. You live in seclusion if you need to for your mental well being. The rest of us are going to trust science and get on with our lives. And not sure what a booster 6 to 8 months down the road has to do with now.
