This is unreal.
I will probably crap my pants if the Tigers win game 5.

Over those last few innings I was trying to remember when was the last time one of our guys struck out.

Damn, just hit the damn ball and put it in play!

We struck out 35 times in the first 3 games of this series, just under 12 Ks/game...only 3 strikeouts today. The game is not that complicated.

So will the President, probably, but then again he probably will regardless the outcome.

Best pitcher in baseball throwing for us. We'll probably be the favorite. Amazing to think this squad could be headed to the ALCS.

Doesn't look like they had to miss work.

As long as Greene and co don’t strikeout 15 times especially on balls in the dirt, they have a shot. Hinch needs to ride Skubal as long as he can. He got lucky with pulling Mize early.
McKinstry actually did something! I was thinking about starting Ibanez today instead. Lefty/righty be damned.

Tigers Win, Cubs Win, Yankees Lose. If the Phillies can notch one over the Dodgers, it'll be a good night for baseball.

A Detroit/Toronto series would be fun for our region.

Even though Toronto is the only team that scares me, it would rekindle an old '80s rivalry. We can't be havin' Jays fans inundating Comerica Park again, can we?
Still, first things first - shuffle off to Seattle and take care of business there. GO TIGERS!

That was a good game for the fans who've supported the Tigers in person all season. I've often felt sorry for them after ugly games.
And a great day for the Detroit entertainment district, with beautiful weather and the game ending at about 6 p.m., in time for people to go to restaurants, bars, and casinos, or just hang out.

If things break right tomorrow in Seattle, this will be a surreal weekend.
Friday: Tigers-Mariners Game 5.
Saturday: Maple Leafs @ Red Wings
Sunday: ALCS Game 1 Tigers @ Blue Jays, simultaneous with Lions/Chiefs on SNF.
Monday: ALCS Game 2.
