On top of that, each time CLEARLY says PT next to it.

Colt Keith on the ALDS roster should help the offense big time...if he plays. Who ya gonna bench? Mariners starters are all righties.

As a possibility, I'm thinking of Javy in CF with Z-Mac at SS and Keith at 3B. Meadows on bench as late pinch runner if needed. Or perhaps DH Keith and stick Carp in RF benching Pérez. Otherwise, Keith on bench as late pinch-hitter; I don't know if his injury precludes him from playing in the field. My gut tells me A.J. won't bench Javy in any case. We'll see.

On another note, the Brewers just tagged old friend Matthew Boyd for three straight doubles in the bottom of the first.
(Edit) Matthew Boyd chased in the first after throwing thirty pitches and yielding four runs. I hope the Mariners aren't as stoked after their bye as are the Brewers. 6-1 Brewers after one. All this after the Cubbies lead off the game with a homer.

Melton looks good through four, but he may be done. One mistake ended up in the centerfield seats.
Meanwhile, we're up to our usual tricks, leaving runners stranded in scoring position.

I loved how the Tigers failed to score in the 2nd inning despite having runners on 1st & 2nd with no outs.

I DON'T love walking the leadoff hitter who ends up scoring the tying run.

Win or lose(and I hope they win), that bullpen has really put in the work tonight.
