During Covid, Whitmer's heavy hand certainly broke many businesses in the state. https://lawshun.com/article/did-governo ... ak-the-law

Whitmer ran as a one-trick pony on fixing the roads, something she has largely failed on: https://www.mlive.com/politics/2024/12/ ... omise.html

MEDC is even bigger joke under Whitmer than it was Snyder, shelling billions to foreign companies, cronies and projects that barely have got off the ground. https://www.michiganforwardnetwork.com/ ... dc-scandal

Of course, there nothing but Red Tape for others. The ridiculous and dangerous Line 5 replacement delays are among the dumbest, next to Nessel drowning Sanford, because she filed a lawsuit to keep lake level higher during the winter and spring just before the rainy season. https://www.michigancapitolconfidential ... hat-failed

Electric Rates have risen dramatically, despite the Whitmer administration preempting local zoning for solar and wind projects. So much for democrat-cy. https://www.fosterswift.com/newsroom/ne ... psc-appeal

After 2,500 days, Whitmer ignores her open government promise. Whitmer’s Open Records Act Fight - she obfuscates all the time. https://www.mackinac.org/blog/2025/afte ... nt-promise

Benson's actions of not verifying absentee voting signatures were dereliction of duty and gave fodder for Trump. https://bridgemi.com/michigan-governmen ... nce-again/

Whitmer, Nessel and Benson are the three stooges of Michigan that broke the system.
All interesting links. Question is how far should Benson run with this sort of thing? Benson dogging her old boss could backfire.
Everything you posted would be great fodder for James to use. Use the material you posted and call Benson a part of the administration that did all that.
All of that was off the top of my head.

I was kind of surprised at the AD. It wouldn't surprise me if Whitmer is using the B word at Benson.

James should use it.
What's the B word? Are you 7?
Only scared little White KKKristian Nationalist bitches use the term "B word" :rollin

Did you need a map to find a better response, or are you just stuck on repeat?

I don't know which b word you are suggesting, and I'm not sure why you are suggesting James call Benson that.

Personally I was pretty impressed with the way Benson brought the SOS in to the 21st century.
If she could pull off that same magic as a Governor I think it would be good for that state overall.

I just hope she doesn't create a cash siphon like the MiEDC for her own political agenda. I am still bristling about Whitmers last 6 months.

I thought to I'd leave that all your wild imaginations. Backstabber might be one you're not thinking of...

I only agreed that James should use the links and info I provided. Sorry I was not clear on that point.

I'm upset because she's acting like a Republican and didn't stop some of the legislature's nonsense. What's your beef?

The data center thing really bothered me. Between that and the 7 vetoes for union bills, Whitmer can see her way out.

As for Benson, I worry about her husband’s data center ties. But she did hold the line against the fake electors. However, we need to have people run on more than “I dislike Trump.”

How about this broken system - state revenue sharing..

We can't even run our cities without total catastrophes. Bay City can't even afford its drawbridges anymore and outsourced them to a company that charges tolls. A toll to cross the Saginaw River!!

The gas tax changes have also affected the state revenue funding. Most areas of Michigan have old infrastructure. Cant afford to keep the fire station staffed. Not a problem - shut it down. Good luck even affording a fire truck, those prices have tripled and production time is about four years.

Since 2002, Bay City has lost $30,232,889 dollars in revenue sharing. So people are leaving town and the state shut off the revenue sharing. That's a great formula for success.

If only a certain man in the White House would actually give a shit to help people and not cut state funding. I know that's too much to ask.

I do have one small minor beef with the SOS. They want me to use the kiosk instead of going to the counter. Fine.
How about waiving the "convenience fee" for the one that is inside the SOS?
I'm not grumbling about the self serve kiosk's inside the Kroger or other retail places.
Just the one inside the SOS. The one the SOS receptionist points at and says I have to use when I want to renew my plate or license.

I'm a little surprised I'm not seeing attack ads for all that .... yet. Everybody hates data centers. Seems like low hanging fruit.

John James isn't exactly a great campaigner, but I am sure we may see it soon. If you remember, Perry Johnson was functioning on an anti data center agenda. That was the only thing I agreed with him.

Isn't the "convenience fee" for using a credit card? Don't you have to pay that if you have an agent at the SOS renew your plates or license too?
