We haven’t done that because we are all dead from the drinking game “take a shot every time someone starts a FOX 2 related thread here.”

Answers:
Had dinner with Kellie and Amy last evening, both are doing well. We had TV dinners. Kellie had Salisbury Steak, Amy had Chicken and I had Fettuccine Alfredo, and it all cost just under $20. Anymore questions?

One thing the FOX2 folks have over every other station here is some organic chemistry. They actually seem to LIKE each other, for the most part. They seem to have respect for their peers and socialize outside the work environment. I'm sure there's exceptions, but it largely doesn't show up on screen
That organic chemistry shows up on camera, even when they're referring to folks behind the scenes. As they throw segments back and forth to each other, or banter naturally, tease each other, you see nothing like they're being forced or coerced to do or say anything. Not like the other stations, where they're reading script or being told to "come up with some banter" and "act like you like them". There might not be dislike or distrust ,but there's not a natural affection either. And that shows as a cold relationship. They all work together, but that's it. When the lights go off and they leave the building, they're scattering in all different directions and forgetting about each other until they have to be on set again.
But it doesn't seem that way at FOX2. They actually seem to have an interest in each other. Hang around together outside the set. Share what they're doing. And they look forward to seeing the people they work with, instead of just tolerating them.
Anybody who actually knows so can tell me I'm wrong, but I'd be pretty surprised. Maybe they're all just really good actors too.

I have to agree with you on a few things.. I have it on good authority that for the most part, the staff gets along. Once exception being Marielle Lue. The excessive blocks of time off (Covid, foot surgery, vacations to Bali, bereavement (almost a month) and another foot surgery) in between all the social media posts and lavish events she goes to and brags about...then pouts like a child when people comment on disparaging things.
My very solid sources say that not only does she inconvenience her co-workers when she's out, she is the ULTIMATE diva when it comes to the behind-the-scenes folks and they rejoice when she isn't there. It's even been well noted she would like to have Deena and Ryan E. replaced because they are "too old". FACT.

Kelly Rowe is doing an afternoon soccer show for the World Cup (internet and app only). When it ends this weekend, I assume she will be back to normal.
Re: Fox 2
I don’t care who’s banging or drinking together or learning to knit a sweater outside of work. I don’t care if there are fisticuffs during the commercial breaks. I just want information from the news. But not from literally the worst top 15 market station in America.km1125 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 16, 2026 10:35 am One thing the FOX2 folks have over every other station here is some organic chemistry. Apparently somewhere in the Metro area on a daily basis the FOX 2 fan club meets and discusses why I’m wrong. Or something.
