Good deal! :D I was wondering who we'd bring in the eleventh. I was expecting Hanifee, but Montero came in and threw strikes. Love it!

I will say this - if I'm not mistaken, the Tigers were only 2 for 17 when runners were on base last night. That's abysmal. Thankfully, that second hit came at a phenomenal time. :)

Montero was probably used because Hinch wanted length in case the game went 15 innings.

Offense is still struggling, luckily Seattle's couldn't do much either.

I'm sure you're right about Montero, seeing he probably won't start in this series.

We're making so many unproductive outs it's starting to wear on my nerves. Those two strikeouts before McKinstry's game-winning single had me yelling, cussing, swearing, and going for a smoke. I was out of the room when I heard the announcer get all excited on McKinstry's hit.

Don't look now, but the Blue Jays are up 12-2 on the Yank-mes in Game 2 of their ALDS matchup.
This after crushing the Bronx Bums 10-1 in Game 1.

Final was Toronto 13, New York 7. The Yankees scored all seven runs in the 6th and 7th innings.

Game 3 is Tuesday night after the Tigers game.

Hopefully Mother Nature cooperates Tuesday afternoon. Model data wants to move most of the precip out of SE Michigan by early or mid afternoon.

Tigers look like they have no intention of hitting tonight.

I can't understand why we can't straighten out some of these pitches. :? Pop-up, ground out, strikeout, fly out -- nothing else. The only way we can get on base is walk.

Just two f'n hits!

Seems like all the pitches they take are hittable.
