She publicly makes negative comments about staffers.

What basis do you have for it being an “epic fail?” Broadcast ratings? Streaming? Social? Website? Does anybody really know? It’s not like 10 years ago where we judge “success” solely on broadcast ratings.

Maybe if you were more concerned about the work that you do, then you are about posting gossip about people that isn’t true, CBS Detroit would be a better place to work. Come on. She's a station manager. They aren't broadcasters, not talent, not journalists, not writers, not producers - not anything related to the creation of content. They come out of sales. They are hos, money grubbers, arrogant right-wingers and they are unable to keep their noses out of things they know nothing about. They are the people who make all the dumb decisions no one can understand.

I speak the truth because I currently work there and see what’s going on. The station would have been a better place if corporate stepped in a lot earlier instead, the top brass stood back while lawsuits were filed, and the Newsroom became a cesspool of incompetency.
Several staffers took mental health leave by using the same doctor and same tactics to scam the system.
Once they could no longer collect full-time leave, they suddenly were cured and came back to work.
For months, other people had to cover those shifts and work double duty.
Amyre Makupson, who was let go , used to host movie nights in which she gathered producers, who would gossip with her about fellow employees.
so please don’t tell me to grow up, when I currently work in a Newsroom filled with immature inexperienced employees.

Several people went to great lengths to get mental health leave because of those working conditions. Some people abused the system, but some people dealt with lawsuit level abuse. If the newsroom is full of incompetent people then point the finger at the people who hired them all... who are now gone. Which by the way, the way you just brought up Amyre Makupson SCREAMS left out, sad little child. I don't know if she had parties or not, but if she did, she clearly didn't invite you and that hurt your little feelings. Bring up something else from 2022.
