The four way deal involving the Heat, Warriors, Jazz and Pistons has been revamped to my liking.

Dennis Schroder, who had played a couple dozen games at Golden State but started the year at Brooklyn, is now coming to the Pistons, giving the Pistons badly needed backcourt depth.

Josh Richardson, who was Jimmy Butler's teammate in Miami, will now join him in California. Richardson has been puke garbage this season, so I'm thrilled he won't be coming here. KJ Martin, who is an end of the bench guy, will be going to Utah as opposed to Detroit.

Don't look now, but the Pistons are about to blow an early 28 point lead against the short-handed Hornets. It's 92-90 at the 7:43 mark of the fourth.

The Bulls traded Zach LaVine to SAC at the deadline for three scrubs and a 2025 first round draft pick in return. Kevin Huerter, a guard they received from SAC, has not been the same since undergoing shoulder surgery last spring. They have no offense left. The Bulls are in full blown tank mode now. The players they received have either expiring or cheap contracts, they received a 2025 first round draft pick, and they'll have a lot of cap space with which to play after this year.

The Bulls are essentially fielding a G-league caliber roster for the rest of the season. They'll be lucky if they win more than a half dozen contests for the remainder of the season.

That said, seeing the Bulls get embarrassed puts a big smile on my face.

DraftKings is still paying 1,000 to 1 odds on the Pistons winning the title, so I decided to buy a $12 lottery ticket that would pay out $12,000 if Detroit wins it all.

The Pistons shoot the lights out on the Bulls which should've gone full on tank mode last year in my opinion. And the Bulls coach gets fired once the season is over in my opinion.

Pistons went on a 25-1 run in the second quarter. I believe their largest lead of the night was 48 in the early 3rd quarter.

Edit - I shortchanged the Pistons by a point. Their largest lead was actually 49 points.

Beasley scored a triple plus a free throw for a 4 point play to give the Pistons a 108 to 59 lead.

Malik Beasley set the new franchise record for triples made in a season, and that's with 28 regular season games still remaining!

Pistons are 29-26 at the break. Next game is the 21st at San Antonio.

Only need to improve against the Central. 4-9 in the division, with 3 wins over Chicago.

The Bulls won back in November.

The Pistons scored 148 points tonight to beat Atlanta.

They are 31-26, up three games on Orlando for sixth place.

That is six straight wins, and 8-2 in the previous ten games

Jeez. Where the hell did this come from? It's starting to look like some of those 80s games again. It's nice to see signs of life in the Pistons after years of submediocre performance.
